GRATITUDE ACROSS YEARS AND COUNTRIES

Gratitude, appreciation, and light — three words that, at times, settle into the soul with such clarity that I feel the need to pause and speak them with complete sincerity. The literary path is never a solitary journey; it is built through encounters, through the trust of those who remain close, through the quiet gestures of people whose presence gives continuity to a shared dream.

I extend my thanks to Professor Traian Lupu, director of Mangalia News, for his constant support, for the trust offered over the years, and for the beautiful unity of our collaboration in service of the Romanian language and culture. Mangalia News remains, for me, a landmark of professionalism and cultural vitality.

My gratitude also goes to Revista Gutenberg, to Professor Florica R. Cândea and Professor Carina A. Baba, for their continuous support, for their openness, and for the natural growth of a collaboration built on respect, professionalism, and profound human kindness.

I carry deep gratitude for Professor Aurelia Rînjea, for her unconditional support, her encouragement, and the warm presence of her spirit, which has given meaning to many moments along my literary journey.

My thanks go as well to Globart Universum Publishing House (Canada) for a collaboration that once again proves that literature knows no borders, and that cultural bridges can be built wherever there are people who believe in the power of the written word.

I am also grateful to writer Cristina Lincu, writer Radu Comșa, and journalist Ramona Raduly from Life.ro. These are people who, in recent years, have stood by me out of pure generosity, gratitude, and sincere appreciation, without expectations. For all they have offered me, I thank them with all my heart, and I am deeply glad they exist in my most beautiful memories.

Although I live far away, distance has never managed to dim my connection with those back home; on the contrary, it has transformed this bond into a warm, living, sincere presence — an arc of light stretched across years, across countries, and across silences.

With the same gratitude, I turn to my colleagues at Radio ProDiaspora, for their solidarity, friendship, and support.

And perhaps the most intimate of all my thanks goes to the people of my grandparents’ village, Bucerdea Vinoasă — my spiritual nucleus, the place where I learned kindness, the root that shaped me and accompanied me wherever I went.

All these people are, for me, a living light. They are the proof that what I do has meaning, that it is worth carrying forward, and that the literary path becomes truly fruitful only when it is shared.

With gratitude,
Anișoara Laura Mustețiu
