ABOUT ME
I was born in 1971 in Timișoara and graduated from the Philology-History High School in 1989. In 1990, I emigrated to Germany, where I spent most of my life in the competitive business world. Since 2015, I have anchored my life’s journey in Sydney.
I have published books of prose and poetry in Romanian and English, covering love novels, true stories about people and life. My literary creations, crafted with the ink of my heart, have appeared in numerous cultural magazines in Romania and abroad. I am a member of the Romanian-Australian Academy of Culture and the League of Romanian Writers.
Since February 2022, I have been an editor at Radio ProDiaspora, hosting my own show, Emoții și Iubire, dedicated to poetry, prose, and music. Additionally, I am the founder and editor-in-chief of the cultural magazine Emoții și Lumină, based in Sydney.
Out of love for literature, I also founded and registered The Romanian-Australian Book Club, which serves as both a publishing house and a cultural event organizer in Sydney.

References:
“I find myself, dear readers, in front of an exceptional book. Once you start reading, you can’t stop—because you simply can’t. You step into the lives of the characters, live alongside them, wiping away each other’s tears filled with truth.”
—Prof. Aurelia Rinjea on The Price of Honour
“Life is poetry,” “life is just a dream,” “life is a poem,” “life is love,” “life is an illusion.” Anișoara Laura Mustețiu lets us decide, unraveling metaphors with profound meanings and searching for deeper understanding in the poetry she offers. Her writing is sensitive and refined, blending classical and modern elements while delivering a strong message filled with emotion and purity.”
—Climate Literare 2021, Book Review by Cornelia Turlea-Chifu on A Kiss Lost on the Silk of Time
“The book Fragments of a Woman’s Life by Anișoara Laura Mustețiu is an inexhaustible source of linguistic vividness, expressiveness, and aesthetic subtleties, with a vibrant, expressive language. It is rich in stylistic elements such as epithets and metaphors, while at times emotion and effervescence unleash with full force, bringing to life astonishing lyrical imagery.”
—Alla Tonu, poet, Member of the Union of Romanian Language Writers (published in Climate Literare, Pro Diaspora, Armonii Culturale, 2023)
“Without being symbolist in nature, Anișoara Laura Mustețiu’s short prose is realistic—it has accompanied her peacefully. There are no lamentations or pretensions; instead, the meanings of a delicate lyricism shine through objectively. (…) The imagery in the volume is both fascinating and symbolic, like the ink sketch of a sorrowful yet fleeting flight of emotions and love. A must-read!”
